Summary

Coneksion® is looking for a sales professional to manage new sales. 

As we are now growing our dynamic sales team, we need your help to achieve our goals! We are looking for an individual who is passionate about sales: a self-driven team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves and actively and directly contribute to company growth. This position is focused on new business development, and you will be responsible for representing our cloud-based integration solution to potential clients, mainly in Europe. To succeed in this role, the chosen candidate needs to understand the platform business and ecosystem digitalization as an outsourced service. 

In the role of Senior Sales Executive, you will partner with our global sales team, product team, marketing, and professional services team, and be a key contributor to the commercial team. You will report to the VP of sales.

Coneksion® works with industry-leading companies in global trade and logistics with high success and customer satisfaction. Your task is to scale our user base and ensure that any company can leverage our best practices and added value in their operations.

Note: This position is a 12-month employment agreement initially if based in Finland.

If outside Finland, then it is a contract-based role.

In either case, there is a smooth transition track to a full-time employee position, equity programs, and good benefits upon a proven track record during the first year.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY AREA – WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Selling Coneksion® Rapids offerings to new customers (end customers and partners such as software providers or relevant consulting companies)
  • Contributing and executing according to the sales plan
  • Leveraging fluent Industry, Customer, Coneksion®, and Competitor knowledge to develop and communicate a winning pursuit strategy.
  • Effectively leading and orchestrating the virtual team to successfully win and close business 
  • Uses knowledge of Customer value drivers, competitors, and Coneksion® solution offering strengths/weakness to maximize revenue. Recognizes and effectively disengages from inappropriate business 
  • Ensuring appropriate implementation services and post-deployment sustainment (support) are in place to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Actively prospecting for new opportunities in assigned accounts and/or territory 
  • Ensuring that Territory & Account Planning Plans are aligned with company plans 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5-10+ years of experience selling software and platform solutions/services to global commerce and/or supply chain audience. Industry knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience of working in larger or smaller companies with international operations
  • Strong, proven track record of consistently exceeding quota using a consultative/solution-selling approach
  • Well-organized, pragmatic execution skills
  • Ability to focus on the right tasks and initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in selling technology to senior business decision-makers by reinforcing the value of the technology to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities
  • Proven record of effective account management, including account planning, opportunity generation and management, communication plans, and business management excellence.
  • Technology savvy; strong experience in SaaS business models and handy with software tools
  • An entrepreneurial mind-set and great verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
  •  Ms. of Science, M.B.A. or equivalent
